About Dr. Andre Watson

My name is Dr. Andre Watson and I am a clinical psychologist in Upper Darby: just west of West Philadelphia. I have experience working with people from all kinds of situations, from overwhelmed single parents, to depressed adolescents with dating, to those with a seemingly lonely life after retirement, to the divorced middle-aged working on personal growth and development, to victims of violence and abuse, to those couples getting ready for a life together, to those just working on more fulfilling lives. It is important to me that we spend time agreeing on goals and working on them together.

I use a multitude of different techniques to help people safely (1) better understand their situation and/or (2) develop strategies for change. I have helped people be more effective at work or school, enjoy more loving relationships with others, and learn how to help loved ones with mental health issues.

My unique contribution to psychology is that I have professional and personal experience with people from all sorts of backgrounds, cultures, and classes. I am comfortable and trained to work with a diverse population with unique and unusual issues such as those from different races, ethnicities, disabilities, backgrounds, and spiritualities.
